Terms and Conditions - Governor Training Events/Courses

Delegates should pre-book an event/course place on CPD online themselves or via their CPD leader. All people attending an event should be in receipt of a confirmed place notification.
Failure to pre-book your place could result in you being turned away. Bookings made prior to Wednesday 26 February 2020 will result in a £15.00 administration charge if a delegate attends an event without a confirmed booking.

Course cancellation by applicant:

Our Cancellation Policy and associated charges apply to any delegate not attending/who do not arrive for an event/course for which a confirmed place has been allocated to them.

Cancellation Policy
A cancellation charge will only be made for all governor events/courses where a governor fails to cancel their booking via CPD online up to the actual day of the course. In extenuating circumstances you can email the course administrator your cancellation - their details can be found on your confirmation email.
£50 for half day or twilight
£100 for a full day event

Online Learning
All sessions will be run using Goto Webinar or Zoom. It is the responsibility of delegates to ensure that they are able to access these platforms prior to booking. Web links will be e-mailed to delegates 24 hours in advance of the session and must ensure that they are able to access in advance.
Applicant cancels more than 48 hours in advance - No Charge
Applicant cancels 48 hours or less in advance of the course start date or fails to attend for any reason – Full course fee

EXCEPTION: Currently no cancellation or non-attendance fees will be charged for the following events:
