Panel Hearings - The Role of the Governor

Event description There may be occasions in which following due process a panel hearing, made up of governors, is required.

This course enables governors to understand when hearings may take place; The policies and procedures to follow; an understanding of ACAS advice and guidance for any personnel issue and the governors role on the panel.

During the session governors will understand the role of the clerk; the chair of the panel ; the role of the governors as well as explore unconscious bias

By the end of the session governors will feel confident in undertaking their role within a panel hearing as well as being able to ensure the process undertaken is fair and transparent.

** Kindly note ** There is a charge of £150.00 for non subscribers of the SLA, for this course.
